openings are difficult to get in & out

I don’t like this play tent coz the openings are difficult to get in and out. The opening is not from the ground up, instead it’s like a feet above the floor so you would have to pick up your feet and step into it and my son have tripped over it several time going in and out. And he wants me to get in w/ him and it’s not easy…if it was just open from the ground up, it would have been a much nicer tent. And both openings are quite small (and both opening are not from ground up either). I’m going to donate this and get myself another tent that’ll open from ground up.

We have had this for 3 years. It just keeps kicking and my kids really beat on it. This has been so much fun. I definitely recommend it. Folds up easy too!

I purchased the Thomas Tank Playhut for our four year old grandson’s birthday. He loves Thomas the Train, so my daughter suggested we get the Playhut. It was the best birthday gift of the party. My other grandsons enjoyed it as much the birthday boy. He has taken naps in it as well as sleep in it overnight. It is easy to put up and easy to store. It was well worth the money I paid for the fun our grandsons have had. I would highly recommend it to anyone with a child who loves Thomas the Train or trains in general.

My son loves Thomas and he loves this train tent. He must of spent every waking hour in it for the first week we had it. It is a nice size, we can both sit in it but it is small enough to find a location for it. He likes all the windows and has two doors for easy access. When not in use, it folds up easily. It also comes with a nice carrying case. However we rarely put it all the way away because he still always wants to play with it, so we just fold it flat and tuck it away.

We had a similar train that lasted 9 years, 3 boys! This is not the same material!!! It is not nylon like the original, it is a cheap guaze material that can be ripped, poked through VERY EASILY! We had it one week, and window is ripped, seam coming out, and holes poked through! The only reason we had to finally throw out our original nylon one, it was left outside and cats sprayed it. It never had one rip. (just smelled horrible
Sturdier than it looks

I got this for my 20 month old son because he loves Thomas and needs an outlet for all his energy while he’s cooped up for the winter. I had read all the reviews here and watched the *fabulous* video review and decided I’d give it a try. I have to admit I was a little concerned because when you first open it up, it seems rather flimsy and looks like it would rip very easily. Luckily, that is not the case–and my son has tested this. It took him a few minutes to warm up to the idea of going inside but I’m small (around 5 feet) so I could go inside and sit with him at first while he got used to it. Now he just loves it. He loves lunging in the door and then lifting the whole thing up and running out the front. The more he plays, the more excited he gets and the less delicate he is with this but it has proven very resilient. It also folds down really easily. We don’t bother to put it in the bag, we just fold it up flat and tuck it behind an easy chair so we have ready access to it. If you’re looking for some easy to use indoor fun, this is the toy to get.

I ordered this play hut for my 21-month-old grandson. He is still a little young for the play hut, but I can tell he loves it. It is easy to refold and store away

Bought this Thomas “tent” for my grandson, age 2 1/2. It was an instant hit! It is a nice size – not too big. Has two ways to enter and of course you can just lift it up as it has no bottom. He can look out the windows and not feel completely isolated while playing in it. I particularly like that it is a good size – not so big that you have to clear furniture out of the room etc. but big enough for a couple of kids. Folds up nicely although hard to get the exact sequence of folds for the storage bag. I could try harder….I do get it to easily lay completely flat. This really is a great gift – especially for the Thomas the Train lover in your house!

We got this for our 2 year old son for Christmas. All four of our kids play with it, sometimes all at the same time. I love that it’s bigger than most foldable tents and it can take all the rough housing my kids do.
